Foreclosures rise in Missouri

Missouri foreclosure inventory in September was 32% above year ago levels, with 2,513 foreclosed properties available. There were 718 new foreclosures, up thirteen percent from 636 last year. Nationally inventories were down 6 percent, mostly due to HUD removing all properties from inventory in 11 states to provide emergency housing following Hurricane Katrina.
